🐾✨ STAFF SPOTLIGHT: ✨🐾

MEET SERA!

If you’ve been around Three Lakes lately, chances are you’ve met Sera, our Assistant Trainer!
She joined our team in June 2026, but honestly… it already feels like she’s been part of the Three Lakes family forever!

Sera is a natural with the dogs. She has an ability to tune into each individual dog, recognize what they need, and meet them exactly where they are in their training!
She’s patient, compassionate, hardworking, and a quick learner — all qualities that make her such an important part of our team!

🐕 Why dogs?

When we asked Sera what made her want to work with dogs, her answer pretty much summed her up perfectly:

“I’ve always felt more connected with animals than I have with people. With animals, there’s an understanding between you — you learn them, they learn you, and you know where you stand with each other. I’ve just always felt like working with animals is where I belong.”

And we think the dogs would agree. ❤️

🏡 Outside of Three Lakes

Sera enjoys spending time with her family, her children, and of course, her own dogs!

💬 So, what does she think about working at Three Lakes?

This one might have made us a little emotional. 🥹

“The first time I met y’all, I kid you not, I told my ma, ‘I hope I get this job because I feel like this is my dream coming true!’
Once you hired me, the next conversation with my ma was, ‘I knew I’d love working with them. They feel like family. So not only do I get to work with animals, I’ve gained family in the process.’”

And THAT is exactly the kind of team we want Three Lakes to be. ❤️

We’re incredibly thankful to have Sera as part of our crew and can’t wait to watch her continue to grow as a trainer. If you see her around, be sure to say hi — although there’s a pretty good chance she’ll be busy loving on or working with one of your dogs! 😂🐾

Everyone give Sera some love! 👏❤️
