Puppies turned 4 weeks yesterday, so in one more week will graduate from the comfortable whelping box to the Puppy play area. Here they’ll have more room to stretch their legs, and experience new toys, textures, sounds and obstacles.💕

4 weeks this Friday.. First puppy gruel feeding as Mommas seldom are lying down with them, but will sit or stand allowing them to nurse. They’ve made it obvious with their singing voices that they’re beginning to want a little more than mommas are willing to give! I’ll take a deep breath and accept that this is where I will step in for small feedings, 4-5 times a day to help with their growing demands..🤗🥰

Well, I assumed these girls would deliver within days of each other but I didn’t expect they’d deliver on the same day! They did help out with the timing though.. maybe they discussed it to make it easier for me, who knows! So Our day of labor began about 9:20am with Ember and ended 7:00pmish.. (Did have a Vet trip within this time as pushing for almost 2 hrs wasn’t producing, contractions ceased, X-ray showed one pup left, good heart beat, oxytocin administered kicking in effective contractions and puppy was birthed, Alive!Hallelujah! Once back home, Lily’s first pup made entrance at 7:30pmish and ended about 12:30amish. Well Done My Sweet Momma Girls!❤️ Now We can Rest!😁
