Coffee with Cooper. Yeah, I know. He’s not in my lap. He gets 600m gabapentin and 300m of Trazadone for breakfast this morning. He goes to Borealis Veterinary Clinic for more blood drawn to test for Horner’s Syndrome. He’s such a big goof. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Also, Franks cough has not gone away. So this morning he goes in for x-rays. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

I know sometimes it seems like I’m always asking for money. Well maybe I am, but obviously there’s a reason for it. I recently changed veterinarians because of cost. And Dr Jenn is well respected in the community and a lot less expensive than our previous vet. But it still cost money. As the dogs get older, there’s different things that come along with it. If you can, please go to our website at www.alaskabeagleranch.org. There’s several options on how to donate including calling the vet clinic. Even just $10 can make a difference. If you can’t, we understand. We also accept positive thoughts and prayers. They can make a difference too. Thank you for your continued support.

Coffee with Lucy. Lucy and I and the rest of the pups, want to thank Rescue Coop for their generous donation to ABR. They won $1000 in a contest and gave us 1/2. We didn’t ask. They did it out of their generosity. Some of you might ask who is Rescue Coop. They’re a rescue in South Carolina, they rescue in North Carolina, and have partners in Wisconsin. They rescue dogs facing imminent euthanasia and those in need of safety. In other words, they’re awesome and ABR has been a fan of them for years. How could you not be. Oh, one more thing Rescue Coop, thanks for being there, Because they all matter. We lift our cup to you.

Have you checked out our website? I've been getting a lot of inquiries about things that's covered on there. It's a really tell all site. I don't hide much. We're not just Beagles anymore. All forms are online now, so no more paper forms. There are all the ways to donate in one place. Who's up for adoption. How to contact us by email, phone, or snail mail. Check it out. I put a lot of work into it.

Coffee with Ludo. He is fitting in at the ranch just fine. He goes in for his wellness checkup next week and to get his shots up-to-date. Then we’ll get him scheduled to be neutered. In the meantime, he’s learned how to be a pup at the ranch. He loves to play ball. Unlike Pearl, any ball will do. He’s playing well with Faye and Charlie. He’s unsure about big Cooper. He’ll be up for adoption in the future and we’ll make somebody a great addition to their home

Our hearts go out to our friend Micael in Sweden, who’s best friend Zeta cross the bridge today. We know you’re hurting, but remember the good times. Cyber hugs my friend.

Coffee with Doobie. My biggest paycheck, my biggest reward was Doobie asleep next to me on the Ottoman, wakes up and crawls over the arm of the chair for a hug and pets. Today started off great and will only get better. Thanks Doobie Doobie Doo!!!

Please keep your paws crossed for Cooper. We don’t know what’s going on yet, so it’s more test this morning. We’ll be off to Borealis Veterinary Clinic first thing.

Please keep one of our alumni pups, in your thoughts and prayers. Uma (formerly known as Cabela), who goes in Wednesday for surgery to have a mass removed from her paw. She’s a sweet beautiful gal.

Lots of emails and phone calls this morning. People with hound problems, some inquiring about rehoming, updates on alumni pups, and some with compliments or suggestions. Notice Milo behind my head, Spot on my lap, and Daisy under Spot. Pearls at my feet staring at me. She wants up. Bill, I’m not feeding you again. One breakfast is more than enough, no matter what you think. They think they’re helping, but they’re making it harder. One slight move I hit the wrong key, a good body shift and I almost drop my laptop. Grab it and where did that email go. Monday mornings. ARGH!
