Some patients leave paw prints on our hearts long after they leave our care ❤️

A painful post though I’m so honored to have been a small part of this amazing pup’s incredible journey 🙏🏼remembering a very special Piper🐾, who was and is still so deeply loved ❤️ A story like no other as she made her way into Alaskan hearts after starting out in South Africa 🫶🏼 she and her amazing mom have been a highlight for much of 2026 🐾 What a beautiful girl inside and out ❤️ what a privilege it’s been to be trusted with overseeing Piper’s care and comfort 🐾

Run free, sweet girl. May your days still be filled with endless adventures, sunshine, and all the good things you loved most. 🐾🌈

Today is National Specially-Abled Pets Day ❤️

A day to recognize the strength, resilience, and individuality of pets living with physical or neurological challenges.

In veterinary rehabilitation, we have the privilege of supporting these patients as they adapt, recover, and thrive in their own unique ways. Whether navigating mobility limitations or rebuilding strength, their determination continues to inspire the work we do every day.

Our role goes beyond improving function, we’re helping enhance quality of life, foster independence, and support the human/animal bond at every stage of the journey.

Today, we celebrate the patients who remind us what’s possible and the teams dedicated to helping them live their fullest lives.🐶🐾
