I remember first meeting Maya many years ago at a tulip photo session in the mud. I’ve watched her over the years and over the seasons, from holidays to valentines to beach photos to pumpkins, she was the cutest Eeyore I had ever seen. All dogs should be as lucky and as loved as this beautiful sweet gentle lady was.💔

Christmas is around the corner!

🎁 I am Accepting a limited number of gift rate 6x6 mini oil portraits for the special price of only $125 each.

Only 10 painting commissions are available at this rate and must be ordered by Sept 30 in order to be varnished in time for Christmas.

Message me for order requests with a photo of your subject. Pets, people and other subjects welcome!

The mini sessions I have lined up for the remainder of the year are Fundraiser Minis...

But what does that mean?

It means that 50% of each of those sessions will be donated to the rescue organization of your choice!

They are a great way for you to not only get some great memories with your best friend, but they are a positive way for your efforts to help an organization dear to your heart. :)

I have donated session fees not only to dog rescues, but many other kinds of rescues as well! Bunnies, Bears, Wolves, Whales... there is no limit to where your session funds may go to benefit. It's just 1 small way I can extend my services to help create more good in the world and together we not only will create beautiful memories for you but put our efforts towards benefitting the things we love and care about ❤

My submission for the Trekell Pet Portrait Art Contest.

We don't get to choose the canvas, they have a different one each year with an unusual shape. The canvas they had us work on had these circle notches cut out of the corners which put the idea of a ball pit into my head and I wanted to have a border collie emerging happily from it. 😂

Not sure how it will work out in the competition but it was a fun process for me and now I get this cute little guy winking at me from my wall 🥰

A few favorites of my session earlier this year with Shona and her mama! I have captured her and her two labs over the years, but this girl was our first focus - Shona. She still loves playing with her ball, especially when her little sister is not around to take it from her! 😂

Of all the sessions I capture, I think the Forever & Always have to be some of my most favorite. A special time for you and your best friend to just enjoy being together, off leash in a beautiful safe and enclosed field area, doing all the things they like best, whether thats catching a ball, getting a belly rub or completely ignoring everyone and focusing entirely on finding that dang bunny who just ran by!

Time goes by too fast in this world. All of the best moments we have often times must be planned in advance - weddings, graduations, birthdays, vacations... be sure to remember to schedule time with the being who loves you more than life itself to give them a spoiling they deserve that will send them home happy and nappy. 😴🥰

If you have not yet been to Mutts Coffee in Beaverton, do yourself (and your fuzzy butt) a favor and go check them out! They are an amazing little community coffee shop entirely focused on helping dogs and they even have items on their menu for your best fuzzy friend too!!

Sunlight will always be my favorite backlight.

This is Rosie. I'm working on her Forever & Always Session as well as several other sunflower sessions from this last weekend at the Wooden Shoe, but just had to break for a moment and share this one image simply because I love it. The end. ☺
