Hello! 👋🏼 My name is Grace, and I’m a certified dog trainer and the founder of New Leash on Life.
I started my training journey in 2022 while working at a doggy daycare, where my love for dogs quickly turned into a passion for understanding their behavior and helping them thrive. I went on to study canine behavior through Animal Behavior College and completed a mentorship with a local trainer to continue growing my skills.
In 2023, I was given an incredible opportunity by Courtni Ehrgott of Pine Lake Dog Boarding & Doggy Daycare to bring my dream to life—and that’s how New Leash on Life was born.
At the heart of my logo (and my “why”) is my dog, Scarlett Jo. What began as a foster situation turned into a lifelong bond built through patience, consistency, and daily training. She showed me firsthand that there’s no such thing as a “perfect dog”—only dogs who are supported, understood, and guided.
