COME JOIN OUR TEAM - We are hiring a part-time Janitorial Assistant to work M-F from 12:30pm-5:30pm
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Janitorial Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in our busy veterinary clinic. This role is essential to the health and comfort of our patients, clients, and staff.
Primary Duties Include:
• Thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the entire clinic throughout the day
• Laundry services (towels, bedding, blankets, etc.)
• Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and animal housing areas
• Walking and caring for patients admitted for the day
• Assisting veterinary staff with safely restraining animals when needed
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and getting up and down from the floor
• Ability to lift and carry moderate weight
• Comfortable working around animals of various sizes and temperaments
Qualifications:
• Dependable with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable around dogs and cats
• Ability to follow cleaning and safety protocols
• Team-oriented with a willingness to help where needed
• Prior cleaning or veterinary experience is a plus, but not required
