City of Washington Animal Control and Adoption Facility The City of Washington Animal Control and Adoption Facility is the only shelter in Daviess County Indiana. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANIMALS FROM OUTSIDE DAVIESS COUNTY.

This Facility also provides Animal Control Services for the City of Washington.

We’re so excited to announce $50 Spay/Neuter Days for Daviess County Cats!

Eastside Veterinary Clinic is partnering with Pet Friendly Services to offer two low-cost spay/neuter days for cats this fall:
📅 Thursday, October 8
📅 Thursday, November 5
$50 per cat

These clinics are intended for Daviess County residents who are low-income or receive government assistance. Both indoor and outdoor cats are welcome, with a maximum of two cats per household. Cats must be at least 10 weeks old.

Appointments are required and space is limited!

📞 Call Eastside Veterinary Clinic at 812-254-1334 to schedule.

Additional services, including rabies vaccination, microchipping and other vaccines, are available for an additional fee. Each cat must arrive in its own secure carrier or live trap.

Affordable spay/neuter makes a difference for individual pets, families, and the entire community. Please share to help us reach Daviess County cat owners who could use this resource!
