City of Washington Animal Control and Adoption Facility The City of Washington Animal Control and Adoption Facility is the only shelter in Daviess County Indiana. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANIMALS FROM OUTSIDE DAVIESS COUNTY.

This Facility also provides Animal Control Services for the City of Washington.

The shelter will be getting some upgrades the next 2-3 weeks. We will be extremely limited on space. Again, please reach out first and let us post animals needing rehomed on fb and to our other resources before bringing to the shelter.
