Miss Molly (Pumpkin) is living her best life over in Illinois! We’ve been getting great reports on her training progress, and she has had quite the glow-up over the last year.

It’s always rewarding to watch these pups grow into talented, driven dogs, and we can’t wait to see Molly and all of her siblings in the field this fall!

Well, I had a long story written about the wild events that took place here this week, but Instagram had other plans. So here’s the short version.

On Monday, while pulling into the driveway, Charlie somehow got in front of my truck and I accidentally ran her over. I never saw her or where she came from. It instantly put a feeling in my stomach I hope to never have again! Thankfully, after a trip to the vet, she checked out with nothing more than some scratches, bruising, and soreness.

Then Friday arrived.

Despite everything she had been through just days earlier, Charlie delivered 9 beautiful puppies! I’m still not sure how she did it, but she’s proven once again what a tough and incredible dog she is.

We have a great mix of black and yellow puppies, with several yellow females currently available.

For her final litter, Charlie definitely went out with a BANG!

Looking forward to having Sally in for a week and getting some work done with her! We’re off to a great start!!

Great shot of these littermates here — Piper and Sally! Two girls that have already proven to be intelligent learners, eager workers, and great team players. They both bring a ton of drive and enthusiasm every single day, and it’s been a lot of fun watching them continue to develop.

We’re also excited to have another litter from this same pairing hitting the ground in just a few weeks if all goes well! If these pups are anything like Piper and Sally, there should be a lot to look forward to!

Getting Piper moving in some water and she is definitely getting the hang of it! There’s absolutely no shortage of love for the water either. She definitely takes after her mom, Charlie, in that department!

Really looking forward to seeing this girl in action this fall. She continues to gain confidence every time out and is turning into a real dandy. Excited to see what the future holds for this pup!

After watching hens work for a while, this gobbler finally came in and gave McCoy his chance.

He’s been waiting on this moment for a LONG time—and he didn’t miss it. Absolutely smoked him. Proud dad moment right here.

Piper got her first crack at remote marks today!

Sending her back to place was a little shaky at first, but it didn’t take long for her to figure out the concept. That’s one thing about this girl — when it clicks, it clicks.

She’s stacking the little wins that turn into big ones. 💪🏼🐾

We wrapped up our final hunt of the season on a strong note. The birds didn’t trickle in like we’d hoped — instead, they gave us one shot at the entire group.

Charlie rose to the occasion and handled it with precision and force. Exactly what you hope to see when it matters.

Glad she finally got the kind of hunt she deserved this year.

Now we turn the page — training season is here.
