🎓🐾 Congratulations to our Preschool Puppy Class graduates! 🐾🎓

These pups worked so hard and learned some incredibly important skills, including bite inhibition, appropriate puppy play, and building confidence in new situations.

We also focused on the importance of the puppy socialization period. A very short but critical window where positive exposure to new people, puppies, environments, and experiences can make a lifelong difference.

We are so proud of all their progress and can’t wait to see them continue to grow! Congratulations to Harper, Argos, Winnie, and Ollie!

Our next class is starting soon, reach out if you’re interested in joining the fun and setting your pup up for success!

First preschool graduating class of 2026! 🐶

Congratulations to Sadie, Bear, Red, and Zara (not pictured).

They enjoyed off leash playtime, discovering new surfaces and items each week, and learning how to earn a click/treat from their owners. Keep up the good work! 🐾

Rosie and I have just finished our first training workshop for Professional Dog Trainer Program! Look what we have!!

Cues (in order):
Sit
Down
Yum yum (lip lick)
Dip (head dip)
Box (get in & lie down)
Cone (touch cone)
Crawl

I ended it with lots of praise! Very important part of training!!

Winter (and rainy day) boredom busters for dogs ❄️🌧️🐾

Looking for ways to keep your pup busy when outdoor time is limited? Try these simple enrichment ideas:

• Rotate toys (put some away and bring them back later)
• Visit a dog-friendly store (if your dog is fully vaccinated)
• Play hide and seek — with you or a favorite toy
• Create an enrichment course around your house:
– Treats under a cardboard box
– Hula hoop tricks
– Puzzle toys

Toy rotation is such an easy way to provide mental enrichment and make “old” toys exciting again.

🎓🐾 Final 2025 STAR Puppy Graduates! 🐾🎓

Congratulations to Cairo, Blackberry, Murphy, and Rosie (not pictured)!

These pups put in the work, showed up with their best effort, and officially passed their final test!

Training is never truly “finished”, it’s an ongoing journey, but building this strong foundation early on helps set them up for a confident, well-rounded life as they grow.

Here’s to these awesome pups as they continue to learn, thrive, and live their very best lives! 💛🐶

Latest Preschool Puppy Graduates!! 🐾

They went through 4 weeks of exploring new things, learning basic commands, and many treats and pets from people they don’t know!

Congratulations to Freya, Rapunzel, Stella Grace, Waylon, and Parish (not pictured) on their graduation! 🎓

Last class for 2025 starts on Tuesday, there is 1 spot left, reach out if you have a puppy between 8-20 weeks old and are interested!

🎃 Happy Halloween from the Armstrong Doggies! 🐾

A few important things to keep in mind tonight:

👻 If your dog loves exploring and is comfortable with new sights and sounds, taking them trick-or-treating can be a great training opportunity!

🐶 If your dog is nervous about new places, costumes, or noises, it’s best to keep them home in their safe, familiar space.

🍬 If you’re handing out candy, use the chance to practice calm greetings! Keep your dog on a leash, have treats ready, and reward them for staying relaxed when the doorbell rings or new people arrive.

Preschool puppy graduates!!

Congratulations to Mayberry, Frank, Cosmo, and Ruby!

They learned so many new things including basic commands, how to sit properly on the scale, how to socialize with other puppies, and who their favorite teacher is, also known as the “treat” lady!

These pups have worked hard over the past 6 weeks to prepare for their final test and they passed with flying colors! 🎓✨ Their owners have done a wonderful job teaching and practicing all the commands learned in class.
