Fayette Veterinary Hospital Welcomes Quinton Waits, DVM
Fayette Veterinary Hospital is excited to welcome Quinton Waits, DVM, to our veterinary team!
Dr. Quinton Waits grew up in Washington Court House and graduated from Miami Trace High School in 2018. He attended Iowa State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2022. While at Iowa State, Dr. Quinton Waits was a four-year member of the Iowa State University Cyclone Varsity Marching Band, where he played the sousaphone.
Dr. Quinton Waits continued his education at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in May 2026. During veterinary school, he pursued a mixed-animal track, preparing him to care for both companion animals and livestock.
Coming home to Fayette County is especially meaningful to Dr. Quinton Waits. He is excited to practice alongside his father, Daryl Waits, Jr., DVM, and to return to Fayette Veterinary Hospital, where he worked during high school. Dr. Quinton Waits is grateful for the community that supported him as he grew up and is excited for the opportunity to give back through veterinary medicine.
Dr. Quinton Waits is looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones, caring for your pets at Fayette Veterinary Hospital, and visiting area farms for large-animal veterinary needs.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Quinton Waits home and to the Fayette Veterinary Hospital team!
