As of July 1st, 2026, all Veterinary Technicians in the state of Minnesota will need to be licensed by the Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to this, vet techs could be on the job trained and could still perform tasks such as blood drawing, anesthesia, wound care, etc. Waseca Veterinary Clinic is proud to announce that all of our Veterinary Technicians have passed their Jurisprudence Exam and have everything in place to be Licensed Veterinary Technicians in the State of Minnesota!! Thank you, soon to be LVT's, for your commitment to providing top notch level skill and care for our patients and clients!!

Veterinary Receptionist Week was this past week, and it’s the perfect time to recognize the incredible work our reception team does every single day. From greeting clients with warmth and compassion to managing busy schedules and helping keep the clinic running smoothly, their role is essential to everything we do. The doctors, technicians and groomer truly appreciate their dedication, patience, and the calm they bring to even the most hectic days. We’re grateful for all that they do to support both our team and the pets and families we care for.
