🐾 FOR THE RIDGLAN BEAGLES:
Safety, Support & Community 🐾
Due to overwhelming interest, we are hosting an additional support evening for Ridglan beagle adopters, fosters, and rescue organizations.
This event will place a special emphasis on SAFETY as well as behavioural concerns and decompression for the dog’s transition into freedom.
Sadly, some dogs have escaped, and lost their lives. Former research dogs can be far more fearful and vulnerable than many people expect, and beagles are natural escaper artists, making proper safety protocols absolutely critical. PTSD causes a fight, FLIGHT or freeze response.
Join Lori Cohen (The Beagle Alliance), John Ramer and Chelsey Marino .and.kin as we share practical guidance, answer questions, and discuss how individuals and organizations can help keep these dogs safe and set them up for the life they deserve.
Whether you are new to former research dogs or have already welcomed one into your home, this conversation is for you.
****PLEASE NOTE: To encourage open discussion and protect the privacy of participants, this event will not be recorded for public sharing.
When registering, please submit your questions in advance so we can address the topics most important to our community. 🩵🐾
Thank you all for wanting to care for a former research dog. WE GOT YOU!
