Merry Christmas from our Rabbitry to you!
We were blessed with a healthy litter of 6 Holland Lops on Christmas Eve night and then a single Holland Lop baby on Christmas morning!
2 new moms and already had to foster the single kit with the other but they are all doing great so far!

Yesterday we had the Shipshewana Christmas show!
I’m so proud of the results we got from lots of 1st and 2nds in classes to some nice big wins!
Hoover’s Legacy’s Buckeye our Opal Netherland Dwarf buck who’s a young senior and still has growing to do won Best Opposite of Group in Show B!
My sister’s English Spot Onion was back at it again with Best of Breed in Show A and then Best Opposite of Breed in show B!

This is our last show for a few months as we prepare for breed nationals in the spring time but we can’t wait for the litters that we will have in the mean time!

We didn’t make it to the ARBA 2025 Convention this year but we’ve been focusing on improving our breed programs a lot and gearing up towards the breed Nationals this spring. We are hoping to at least make it to the Netherland Dwarf Nationals, English Spot Nationals, and New Zealand Nationals in 2026.
In the last few months we have improved a couple of our Netherland Dwarf color programs by bringing in new stock from Lesa Rose!
We have added in 2 Orange bucks, 4 Orange does, 1 Chocolate Agouti doe, 1 Chinchilla buck, and 2 Broken Blue does. We are very excited for these new additions and can’t wait to improve our Orange/Fawn program, Chinchilla/Black Silver Marten program, and our Otter program!

We have started breeding for December litters but these kits will be for potential showers at the breed nationals and won’t be available until we decide who’s staying and who can go to new homes.

Had fun today at the Adrian Michigan show! Didn’t have a bad day today but we did have some great complements on our rabbits! All the bucks pictured did the best and either placed 1st or 2nd in their classes and with Riggs our old REW buck still holding in the top half of his class!
We had a great time hanging with our Michigan Netherland Dwarf friends and having a friendly competition which is what showing rabbits is all about!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a heads up that we will be posting available rabbits in the next week or two! These breeds include Mini Satins, Netherland Dwarfs, and New Zealands. Most young and a few older. So stay tuned to see what’s available! Lots of great rabbits!

After being sick and drained we finally were able to get some pictures of a few grow outs/hold backs.
3 adorable little 6 1/2 week old Netherland Dwarfs!
A fawn doe, a black otter doe, and a broken black otter buck! We still have some posing work to do but they are looking good so far!

We kept back a broken red New Zealand doe (Hoover’s Legacy’s Rose) from a spring litter we had and at 5 months old she is looking pretty good. We need to work on posing a bit more but she is a nice wide doe that’s going back into the program!
