🖤🐾 MEET ONYX — LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME 🐾🖤
Onyx needs a new family due to his owner’s health circumstances, and we’re hoping our dog-loving community can help him find the loving home he deserves.
Onyx is a handsome 6-year-old Lab/German Shepherd mix, born January 6, 2020. He has been with his current owner, for approximately 3 years.
Sadly, due to health reasons, he is no longer able to care for Onyx. This is an incredibly difficult situation, and the family is trying to find Onyx a loving home rather than have him end up in a shelter. ❤️

🎂 Birthday: January 6, 2020
🐕 Breed: Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix
🏡 Looking for: A loving, stable forever home
🌳 Ideal home: A home with a securely fenced yard
🚶 Exercise: He needs regular walks and activity
💪 Leash: Onyx is a strong dog and does pull, so he needs someone physically strong enough to handle him. The good news is that he is trainable!
🏠 Companionship: A person or family who is home much of the time would be ideal for him.
🐱 Cats: It is currently unknown whether Onyx has been around cats, so this would need to be carefully evaluated before placing him in a home with cats.
Onyx is a beautiful boy with plenty of life and love left to give. He deserves someone who will give him the time, exercise, patience and companionship he needs — and in return, he’ll have the opportunity to become a wonderful part of someone’s family. 🖤🐾

The family has indicated that they have about one week to find Onyx a suitable home before he may have to go to a shelter.
