✨ Meet Calliope ✨
We have a new little face at Tiny Shadow Schnauzers, and we are completely in love. 🤎
Meet Calliope!
I knew I wanted her name to be something a little special. Calliope was one of the nine Muses in Greek mythology — the Muse of epic poetry, eloquence, storytelling and heroic song. I loved the name, I loved what it represented, and somehow it just seemed to fit her.
And just look at this girl. 😍
Calliope is a liver merle with beautiful tan/rust points, the sweetest little Schnauzer face, and those incredible blue eyes. I absolutely love the pattern of her merle — especially across her back. She is one of those puppies who looks a little different depending on which direction you’re looking at her.
But as beautiful as she is, we are having even more fun getting to know her personality. She’s settling in, exploring everything, playing with her toys, cuddling, and figuring out her place in our little Tiny Shadow family.
We are so excited to watch her grow and mature. As she grows and completes the appropriate health evaluations for adulthood, we are hopeful that someday she may become part of the future of our breeding program.
For now, though, she just gets to be a puppy — and we get to enjoy her. 🤎
