I was discovered living the good life around McDonald's, where I was apparently conducting important royal business and accepting payment in French fries .
Then these humans decided I should move indoors. While I tolerate this arrangement, I want it known that I am still 0% interested in nonsense.
When you come to visit me, I'll happily greet you with one of my signature welcoming hisses . Don't be offended—it's just my way of saying, "Hello, royal admirer ." 😹
The volunteers has learned that a hiss from me doesn't necessarily mean I dislike you. Sometimes it's simply part of my royal charm.
Now, if you happen to be sitting quietly on the floor, minding your own business and not trying any funny stuff, I may choose to grace you with my presence. I might rub on the crates. I might look adorable. I might even let you think we're friends. But don't let it go to your head.
Some people have suggested I should be a barn cat, but let's be serious here—I am FAR too pretty for that lifestyle. Have you seen me? This face belongs in a palace where my beauty can be admired daily, not in a barn where only the mice appreciate my magnificence. ✨
Deep down, I'm actually a pretty sweet girl. I just prefer relationships that move at my speed—which is somewhere between "maybe later" and "absolutely not."
The humans here have learned that underneath all my sass is a cat who enjoys attention on her own terms and likes having loyal subjects around... as long as they remember who makes the rules. 🤷♀️
I also heard the shelter is temporarily closed to the public right now, and if I'm being honest... I couldn't be happier . 😹 Large crowds are simply not my thing. When lots of strangers show up, my preferred royal strategy is to run, hide, and remind everyone of my presence with a few well-placed hisses. If you come expecting me to leap into your arms on the first date, you may be slightly disappointed. I am a wild little queen with trust issues and a very careful screening process for potential subjects. The people here know that underneath my dramatic behavior is a sweet girl, but earning an audience with me takes patience. The best way to win me over is to let me decide when you're worthy of my attention. 👑
