🐾💙 A BIG THANK YOU TO MATT WITH MERCK! 💙🐾

We want to give a huge thank-you to Matt with Merck for bringing our team lunch in honor of Veterinary Technician Week! We appreciate you thinking of our team and helping us celebrate the hard-working people who care for our patients every day!

While we’re talking about Merck, let’s talk BRAVECTO!
Did you know Bravecto Quantum is a once-a-year injection that provides 12 months of flea and tick protection for your dog? No monthly reminders or trying to remember that chew—just year-round protection made easy!

Ask our team about Bravecto Quantum at your next visit and let’s keep those pesky fleas and ticks away!

Thank you again, Matt, for treating our team and helping us celebrate Tech Week! We appreciate you!

Lexi is truly an incredible asset to our team! She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely cares about every patient that comes through our doors. Her dedication to veterinary medicine and the animals she cares for does not go unnoticed.

We are so thankful to have someone like Lexi on our team. She is an essential part of what makes our clinics successful, and we are lucky to have her!

Lexi, you are such an important part of our team, and we honestly couldn’t imagine doing this without you! 🐾❤️ VET TECH SPOTLIGHT: SARA MARKS, CVT! ❤️🐾

Today, we want to brag on our very own Sara Marks, CVT!

Sara is the kind of team member every veterinary clinic needs. She has an amazing work ethic, stays organized, and consistently goes above and beyond what is expected of her. She takes pride in what she does, and it shows in the way she cares for our patients and treats our clients.

Veterinary medicine can be chaotic, busy, and unpredictable, but having someone who is dependable, organized, and always willing to go the extra mile makes a world of difference. Sara has a way of making both our clients and patients feel cared for, and that is something that cannot be taught.

Sara, we appreciate your hard work, your dedication, and everything you bring to our team. So much of what you do may happen behind the scenes, but please know that it does not go unnoticed!

Help us show Sara some love and let her know how much she is appreciated! 🐾❤️

✨ Patient Highlight: Meet Conner! ✨

This sweet boy came in to our Monticello location for his dental cleaning, and we’re so happy to help keep that smile healthy! 🐶🦷💙

Did you know that yearly professional dental cleanings are an important part of your pet’s overall health? Just like us, pets can develop plaque and tartar that can lead to periodontal disease, painful teeth, infection, and other health problems if left untreated.

🦷 Why are dental radiographs so important?
✨ They allow us to see below the gumline where we can’t see during a regular exam.
✨ They help detect hidden dental disease and infection.
✨ They allow us to evaluate tooth roots and surrounding bone.
✨ They can identify damaged, fractured, or diseased teeth that may look normal from the outside.
✨ They help our veterinary team determine the best treatment for each individual pet.

And dental care doesn’t stop when your pet leaves the clinic! 🏠🐾 Regular at-home dental care using veterinarian-recommended dental products can help reduce plaque and tartar buildup between professional cleanings. Dental chews, toothpaste, diets, and other products can all be helpful when used appropriately for your pet.

📅 A professional dental cleaning at least once a year, along with consistent at-home dental care, can help keep your pet’s mouth healthier and more comfortable!

📍 Dental radiographs are currently available at our Monticello Animal Clinic and Grace Veterinary Services locations.

Give your pet’s smile the care it deserves! 🐶🐱🦷✨
