So many mixed emotions. As of Tuesday, I have officially retired. The TLC in DOGGY DAYCARE actually stood for Tim & Leslie Cobb. We both took a big step of faith. Tim has been my builder of all things. The tub he built for the daycare is one of my proudest additions. From welding a super sturdy frame that can hold much weight to the pipes that can be turned from faucet to hose when needed, even connecting the plumbing! Meeting the clients, a hard thing for me to do, has been a blessing! What great people I have had the pleasure of knowing. Taking two dog body-language seminars at Dog Smartz Unleashed, a Pet Emergency Education class, and being on the local news WKBN, participating in the Lordstown Apple Cider Festival Parade, setting up at the Howel-oween event at Mosquito Lake Dog Park, and, of course, SANTA Pictures at the daycare with my family - Tim, Jarod, Jessica, and John David jumping in and helping, and LeAnn from Dog Gone Spoiled taking pictures - and learning everything I possibly could about dogs has all been the trip of a lifetime. My pack! Oh boy, here's where the tears flow! Getting to know each dog's unique personality, what makes them tick, studying each breed before their first day, has been absolutely the most rewarding and soul-satisfying experience. They have taught me so much, and I have come to love each one like my own. I can honestly say this has been THE best career of my life. I was born for this. I only wish I had more time. I will miss the many people I have met, mostly I will miss my pack. So Garrett Compston of Sit Happens Ohio will be taking the reins, or leash, from here. He is a dog trainer looking to expand on his love for dogs. He has much to offer and resources to go far and so much more. Good luck to you, Garrett, and many years of success 🥰.
