Hat Day turned out to be an excellent coincidence for today’s game to be OUTSIDE! 🦆 🦆 🪿
And look—even the MGVECBros partook in spirit day! 🥳 🧢 👒

We determined that perhaps games involving physical activity are best suited for the end of shift vs before. A few egos and knees were bruised in the process. 😂 🏃

Thank you to IDEXX for sponsoring our Chick-Fil-A supper! 😋

Another team member, another spotlight! Arianna (Ari) has been working within veterinary medicine since 2017. She is a full-time practice manager with PetSmart Veterinary Services and has been working as a relief team remember with us throughout 2026. Ari’s favorite patients to work with are bearded dragons and yorkies. When Ari is at home, she enjoys reading and playing video games. Our favorite thing about Ari is her kindness and the patience that she provides to our clients. We appreciate that Ari shares her valued time with us! 🐾🖤

This spotlight shines on Logan! Logan has been working in veterinary medicine since 2010. She made the transition to emergency medicine in 2020 and never looked back. Logan is a lover of bullies and hound dogs thanks to her finance, Chris. She is always excited to see their sweet, droopy faces, long floppy ears and loves taking care of them. She and Chris enjoy working with their own hounds through hunting and participating in competitions. 🥇
When Logan is at home, she is often found reading or spending time outdoors hunting, or fishing with her daughter, Cheslee, in tow. Our favorite thing about Logan is her commitment to getting the job done. We can always count on her to follow through! Thank you for being part of MGVEC, Logan! ❤️🐾

This spotlight is for an oldie, but a goodie—Casey! 🫶🏻 Casey has been working with animals for over twenty years, the last eleven years being within the veterinary medicine field. He began working as a groomer and transitioned through reception and eventually moved into working as a veterinary assistant. Casey has a special place in his heart for all of the German shepherd and pittie patients that he meets. During his downtime, he can be found tending to his garden/plants, spending time at home with his husband, Jesse, their colony of kitties, and taking walks with their pitbull. Our favorite thing about Casey is his consistency to cross his T’s and dot his I’s. We appreciate your hard work, Casey Wayne! 🐾🖤

New day, new spotlight: Adreyan! Adreyan began her veterinary medicine journey in 2025 as a veterinary technology student at Fort Valley State University. Her favorite type of patients to see are any and every kind of dog that comes to see us, with bonus points if they’re cute!🥰 When Adreyan is not working or attending her college classes, she enjoys binging Netflix shows, eating snacks, and listening to music. Adreyan is an MGVEC newbie, and thus far our favorite thing about her is her eagerness to learn and be part of our team. We are happy to have you, Adreyan! 🐾❤️

🖤🩶 Opposite or Twin Day at MGVEC! 🩶🖤

The humans brought the theme. Sprig brought main-character energy. 😂🐶

A little twinning, a little contrast, and one tiny supervisor!

Different looks, same team, and a shared inability to resist a cute face! 💙

Thank you to Perrydise Nutrition for the yummy drinks! 🥤

Our week of celebrating our team continues! Brittney has been working in veterinary medicine since 2016 and has become part of our relief team this year. She is always thrilled to see any chihuahuas that she can cuddle give love to. On her days off, she finds great joy in volunteering with Pawsome Southern Rescue. Our favorite thing about Brittney is her willingness to jump in and help, whenever and with whatever a team mate needs. We are grateful to have you with us, Brittney! 🐾❤️

Another team member spotlight: Malena! Malena has been working in veterinary medicine since 2025 and is a valued member of MGVEC. Small breed dogs are her absolute favorite, which is only logical as her own dog, Marley Mae, is a tiny girl herself. When Malena is off the clock, she enjoys spending quality time with her girlfriend and of course, Marley. Our favorite things about Malena is her easy-going attitude and helpfulness, we can always depend on her to laugh with us. Thank you for being a part of our team, Malena! 🖤🐾

We continue with shining the spotlight on our team with Mia! Mia has been working in veterinary medicine since 2025 and is working towards her goal of attending veterinary school. Her favorite type of patients to work with are sheep! 🐑 During her downtime between being a part of our team, Town and Country Animal Clinic’s team AND a college student 😮‍💨 she enjoys traveling. Our favorite thing about Mia is her willingness to learn new skills. We are so glad that Mia has become a part of our MGVEC team this year! 🖤🐾
