Today I said goodbye to my baby girl, Luna.
She wasn’t just my dog. She was the reason Loving Touch exists. Everything this salon was built on — the gentleness, the patience, the way I’ve always believed every animal deserves to feel safe and loved — that came from her. She taught me what loving touch actually means.
She was bossy till the end, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I’m going to miss her scratching the side of the bed because she wanted to be picked up. I’m going to miss her telling me exactly how things were going to be.
She shared her home — and her mama — with three street rescues: Teddy, Shaggy, and Goldie. She welcomed them in, even when they got on her nerves. That was her. The first to greet anyone who came to the house, the first to let me know someone was coming. Always on duty, always in charge.
She was my heart for so many years, and I will miss her dearly.
Run free, baby girl. Save me a spot at the side of the bed. 🌈🌈🐾🐾🐾❤️❤️ until we meet again I will always Love you my Lulu.
