Update on Luna. She ate last night, and was in good spirits, but gotta call this morning and her white blood count has doubled from yesterday so they still have her on fluids and IV antibiotics. She also didn’t eat this morning. 💔😢 so I’m up here now w her and she just ate her whole bowl and went potty outside. 🙏🏽🥰❤️

Who ever said emotional stress doesn’t wear u out is a big fat liar! It is 8 pm and I’m in bed and I am soo flipping tired it’s REDIC!! I gotta call from the vet this evening and Luna spiked a fever after surgery but it seems they have it under control now. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 I am literally emotionally spent. My poor Luna Tuna! 💔😞 I’m going back up tomorrow to visit so she has something/someone familiar. Thank you Dr Hodges and staff for taking such good care of her. ❤️🙏🏽 He knew exactly how hard my decisions were today and he never waivered and always had a hug for me to reassure me I was doing the right thing. ❤️🥰🙏🏽

Well today was a traumatic day! Luna had 17 more days until she was to give birth but long story short we ended up at the vet this morning w complications. She ended up having a c-section, no puppies made it, she had polyps on her ovaries and one side of her cervix was thin and had ripped so with all of that going on, we decided to spay her. I am heartbroken and devastated but GRATEFUL she is alive! She is 4.5 years old and once she is cleared from surgery/post op, she will be looking for her retirement home. Another heartbreak! 💔 PM me for more info.
