The Senior Scenter We are a Cage Free Senior Dog Sanctuary and Hospice. Puppies Under Protection, Inc. is proud to present "The Senior Scenter". None of our residents live in cages.

Our "Old Timers Crib" was built to accommodate Senior Dogs that have been dumped at shelters or become "homeless" due to their owner passing or entering a nursing home, etc. As much as we would like, we do have a limit on how many seniors we can house and unfortunately can not take them all. Everyone has 24/7 free range of the home and the yard. Many have medical problems and may only be given weeks or months to live. Our plan is to make sure that they are loved and comfortable up until and especially at their last moment on earth. Most of our seniors are here till they "Cross The Bridge" so there are no adoption fees like a regular rescue. We provide them with EVERY comfort a dog could need or want. The best food, comfy beds, a/c, heat, music, TV and LOTS of love . . 24/7!! If you like what we do, there are several ways you can help! We depend greatly on volunteers and donations so please message us with any questions.

Our Prince of Barkness is perfecting his sploot skills at the SS. 👑🐾 And judging by that face, we’d say he has mastered the art of looking adorable while doing absolutely nothing! ❤️
