No car rides. No busy salon. Just one-on-one attention in a familiar environment.

And judging by these wagging tails, happy faces, and excited greetings, I'd say they're pretty happy about it too! ❤️

The Pampered Pup is currently accepting new house-call grooming clients within approximately 10 miles of Ware, including Ware, Palmer, Belchertown, Ludlow, Warren, and West Brookfield.

Life has a funny way of redirecting us sometimes. 💛

Over the past few months, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes toward expanding The Pampered Pup into a storefront location. While that journey hasn’t gone quite the way I hoped, I’ve realized something important…

The heart of this business was never the building. It’s the relationships, the dogs, and the trust you all place in me every single day. 🐾

So after a lot of thought, I’ve decided to shift my focus from opening a storefront to growing The Pampered Pup's Housecall Services instead! 🚗✨

For those who may not know, I previously offered in-home nail trims and housecall grooming services, and they were incredibly popular. Between some family challenges and my own health issues, I had to step back for a while. Thankfully, things have settled down, I’m feeling much better, and I’m finally in a place where I can grow this part of the business again.

There’s something special about helping pets feel comfortable right at home — especially seniors, anxious pups, busy families, or dogs who simply hate the car ride. ❤️

Housecall services will be available within approximately 10 miles of Ware, including:
📍 Ware
📍 Palmer
📍 Belchertown
📍 West Brookfield
📍 Ludlow
📍 Warren

At this time, services will be limited to dogs under 40lbs.

Big things are still coming for The Pampered Pup… they just may look a little different than originally planned. 💫

The Pampered Pup will be closed through Monday and will reopen Tuesday! Feel free to leave a message and I’ll get back to you sometime between loading more wood onto the campfire, chasing the dogs around the campsite, and attempting to relax… which everyone knows I’m absolutely terrible at 😅🔥

A little dream of mine just became real 💛🐾

I’m so excited to share that I’ve officially launched my very first children’s class through Outschool!

Pawsome Treats 101: Beginner Dog Treat Baking for Kids is now LIVE 🎉

This class combines so many things I love — dogs, creativity, teaching, and homemade treats. In this 4-week class, kids will learn how to make fun and beginner-friendly dog treats for their own pups while building confidence in the kitchen. ** update - there are now TWO classes, one ages 6-11 and the other 12-17 **

As someone who loves both working with children and caring for animals, this feels like such a fun new extension of what I’m building with The Pampered Pup.

Just two more modules to go before I officially become a certified pet aesthetician—so close to reaching this goal I’ve been working so hard toward.

📢 Important Reminder: Rabies Vaccinations Required at The Pampered Pup 🐾

At The Pampered Pup, your furry friend’s health and safety are our top priority. That’s why we require all dogs to have up-to-date rabies vaccinations before receiving grooming services.

🔒 Why is this required?

In the state of Massachusetts, rabies vaccination is not only strongly recommended — it’s legally required. Rabies is a serious viral disease that can affect all mammals, including humans. Even though the risk may seem low, vaccination is the most effective way to protect your dog, our staff, and the entire community from this fatal disease.

📌 Here’s why we enforce this policy:

✔ Protects your dog’s health: Rabies is preventable through vaccination, but once symptoms begin, it is almost always fatal. Keeping shots current ensures your dog stays safe.

✔ Protects other pets and people: Grooming brings dogs into close contact. While I strive to maintain a one-on-one environment, there are times that dogs might overlap a bit. Vaccinated dogs help create a safer environment for everyone — pups and humans alike!

✔ State law compliance: Massachusetts law mandates rabies vaccinations for dogs, and we adhere to all local health regulations to maintain a safe and trustworthy facility.

🗓 What you need to do:

Please bring proof of your dog’s current rabies vaccination at the time of their appointment. If your pup’s vaccine is due soon, we recommend scheduling it before your grooming visit.
