Happy Monday!!

Thank you all so much for another great weekend at the farmstand! We are so grateful for everyone who stops by and supports our little farm. It means more to our family than you know!

I have a little extra milk from our Nubian girls and am looking for 2 regular weekly customers for raw goat milk! 🐐🥛

🤍 First half of the week: 1½ gallons available
🤍 Second half of the week: 1 gallon available

Milk is $20 per gallon with a new jar or $16 per gallon when you exchange jars.

Milk will be placed in the farmstand on your designated pickup day so that you can stop by at your convenience during farmstand hours! It's self-serve, making it easy to pick up your milk and return your clean, empty jars.

Don't need a whole gallon? I can split the milk into half-gallon shares and take on a couple more customers instead!

What a beautiful, crisp fall day! 🍂 The perfect Sunday to fire up the crockpot or make a big pot of soup. And what goes better with soup or stew than some fresh homemade bread? 🍞

We have soft, pillowy loaves of bread in the farmstand today, available sliced or whole! We also have a few bags of rolls left, all $5 each.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to get my own crockpot of ham and bean soup started!

So I got to thinking… how do you make a peanut butter cookie even better? 🤔

DUH! Dip it in chocolate and add a cute little drizzle!

These got the family stamp of approval, and they’re hitting the farmstand first thing tomorrow morning! If you’re a peanut butter and chocolate fan, these might just be calling your name!

Goat's Milk

We have a little extra goat’s milk, so I’ll be stocking the farmstand with quart jars for $8 each!

If you’ve been curious about trying our goat’s milk but don’t want to commit to a whole half gallon, now’s your chance!

A few things people love about goat’s milk:
Naturally rich in nutrients — provides protein, calcium, and other essential nutrients.
Different fat structure — goat’s milk has smaller average fat globules than cow’s milk.
Unique flavor — fresh goat’s milk has its own creamy taste that many people love!

Give it a try and see what you think!

Just a little note: our goat’s milk is raw and unpasteurized. We take pride in caring for our girls and handling their milk with care. But it’s important to understand the difference between raw and pasteurized milk. We encourage everyone to learn about raw milk and decide what’s right for you.

This week’s sweet treat is in the stand! You guys loved the browned butter toffee chocolate chip cookies, and a few of you asked for them in our $5 bags, so that’s exactly what I did!

Someone asked me the other day how I could eat such cute little rabbits. 😂 Well, here’s reason #101 why!

Unlike dogs and cats, rabbits aren’t always the sweet, cuddly little creatures people make them out to be. They definitely have their own personalities, and some of them are just destined for the freezer.

This girl has a track record of this kind of behavior, so yes, I knew better than to stick my bare arm in her cage. Did I do it anyway? Apparently.

To give her credit, she’s a great mama and raised some beautiful babies. But she’s officially on thin ice. If she keeps up this behavior AND refuses to breed this year, she may just be earning herself a one-way ticket to the freezer.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who showed our farmstand so much love and support this weekend! ❤️ You are all amazing, and we appreciate every single one of you!

Just a reminder that we’re still open Monday and Tuesday from 7am–7pm, just without the bakery goodies. You can still find our goat cheese, cajeta (goat milk caramel), eggs, and rabbit meat!

I also want to take a minute to share King Family Farms with you all! If you’re looking for quality, locally raised beef, pork, or chicken, be sure to check them out. They’re great people who put out a great product, and we love supporting other local farms and helping connect our community with good food!

Thanks for supporting small farms and the families behind them. It truly means so much!
