Tonight at 7:00 PM ET, Sunny, our resident pet nutritionist will be going live on Zoom for Fed Up: How Food Affects Itchy Skin and Upset Stomachs.

Is your dog licking their paws, scratching their ears, or dealing with loose stools, gas or a stomach that never settles? This session is for you.

In 90 minutes you’ll learn:

How your dog’s gut and skin are connected

How many did you get right?

Some of the words on your dog's food bag have legal definitions, and others are there to sell food.

"Holistic" and "premium" have no regulatory definition.

Natural has one, but it only covers how ingredients are processed.

Human-grade is the strictest: every ingredient and the finished food must meet human food standards.

None of these words tell you whether a food suits your dog's skin or stomach.
The ingredient panel does.

Yes, we're talking about p**p today.

When someone comes to me about itching, I always ask about digestion. The first answer is usually "oh, that's fine."

Then we talk it through, and there's soft stool some days, gas after dinner, and grass-eating in the morning.

Skin and digestive symptoms in the same dog are one of the clearest signs that food deserves a closer look.
