We are pleased to introduced Daisy our female, 45lb, 10 month old mini poodle x australian shepherd mix aka an Aussiedoodle.
This ball of fluff is a curious and playful pup who's always up for an adventure. With her energetic and playful spirit, Daisy's sure to keep you on your toes. But don't worry, she's also a total softie who loves nothing more than snuggling up for a good cuddle session. Daisy's got a friendly and outgoing personality that's guaranteed to make her a people-pleaser. She's good with kids, but hasn't been tested with dogs or cats yet. Daisy's up to date on vaccines and is being spayed on 5/19. So, if you're looking for a loyal companion who's always up for a good time, then Daisy's your girl. We are still doing our super fun fund raiser “Buy the Week”.
This is where individuals, families, co-workers, or other groups can sponsor a week throughout the year at the shelter. Your sponsored week could be in memory of a family member or pet, a special birthday or anniversary, a gift for a special person in your life, a club, or so many more ways to honor the week and support the shelter. The sponsor of the week will be acknowledged during that week on all of our social media posts and at the shelter. Weeks begin on the Monday of the week chosen. So... Sponsor a week for $200.00. Thinking of adopting an overlooked cat? A Feline Leukemia Virus "FeLV" positive cat may be your chance! Emerald, Tonka, or Mercedes could be your purr-fect match!

Emerald is a 6 year old spayed female, grey & white DSH, FeLV+. Emerald is currently on a weight loss journey and would love an owner who could help keep her active during it! She is very vocal, always demanding attention and treats(hence the weight loss journey). Emerald is a very sweet cat and loves to play with crinkle ball toys. She does have a skin sensitivity that sometimes does require some medication. Emerald does good with other cats, children and dogs who can respect when she needs her space.

Tonka is roughly 3-4 years old, male neutered, grey tabby, FeLV+. Tonka was a TNR cat as you can tell by his left tipped ear. He is a very sweet and affectionate cat who loves pets and his feline friends(especially Ms. Emerald). Tonka can be vocal at times when he is calling for attention and he does occasionally grab people with his paws and nibble on fingers. Tonka is a very affectionate cat that would love to be spoiled in a home. He’s good with other cats, dogs, and older children(just cause of his quirks).

Mercedes is a 2 1/2 year old, FeLV+, spayed, orange & white DSH with a major taste for treats and wet food. She's all about the attention and playtime, and would make a great addition to a family that's ready to spoil her rotten. Just don't expect her to be the life of the party all the time; especially after raising 5 rambunctious orange sons, she's earned the right to some peace and quiet. She gets along with cats, calm dogs, and kids.

So, now that we've introduced our cat friends. What is Feline Leukemia Virus FeLV? It's a virus affecting a cat's immune system, which can make them more prone to illness. FeLV+ cats are just like any other cat: playful, cuddly, and full of life. By adopting a positive kitty, you're giving a loving home to a cat who's been overlooked. They’ll show you love and gratitude in return. Love doesn't discriminate based on diagnosis, and with your love, this kitty's life could change for the better.

What these positively purr-fect FeLV cats need:
-Indoor only home
-Quality nutrition and regular vet checkups
-No contact with FeLV-negative cats (talk with your vet about vaccinating your negative cat for FeLV)
-A calm, loving home where they feel safe and adored

Hey there, I'm Rucker, a 8 month old, male, Lab x Pit Bull mix. Roughly 45lbs and still growing! More photos of my fabulous self to come soon. Let me tell you about myself, I'm an affectionate and friendly fella, always ready to shower you with kisses and love. I'm always up for an adventure and can't wait to explore the world with my new family. I was found out in a field by a farmer, and was brought here to hang out with my new pals! I haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet, but I'm good with kids and will need to meet any dogs in the home. Come and meet me, and let me charm my way into your heart!

Get ready to fall in love with the soda kitties! Meet Sprite, Barq's, Sierra Mist, and Starry! They just turned 7 months old today, are already spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. They are able to go home on May 26th. They are all just the sweetest and most affectionate cats around. If you're thinking of adding a cat pal to your life, that isn't a little kitten but isn't an adult; this may be your chance!

Sprite-female, DSH brown tabby with orange. She can be scared of new things at first, but warms up quick and is very sweet.

Barq's-male, DSH brown tabby. Sweet, brave, very playful.

Sierra Mist-female, DSH brown tabby with orange. She's a little more reserved but very affectionate when she gets to know you.

Starry-female, DSH brown tabby with orange. She's the most cuddly and the sweetest.

Howdy, partner! It's me, Norah (or Nora, if you're feeling casual), and I'm here to steal your heart. I was found running free and I won't tell anyone my backstory (I like keeping the mystery). I'm a 4 year old, female pooch with a whole lot of love to give. I'm going to be getting scheduled for my spay soon, that way I'll be go home ready! I'm a friendly and affectionate soul, always up for a game of fetch and I absolutely love my kong. I just love being around humans and getting attention. I can be timid of new people at first, but I warm up quickly. I've been okay around cats with supervision, good with kids, and I'll need to meet any dog in the home. So, if you're looking for a loyal companion to join your pack, I'm your girl. Come on, let's write the next chapter of my story together!
