It is with a heavy heart I’m making this post about J & J Legacy’s The Messenger Saint Gabriel (Gabe) who was loving owned by Tammy and Scott W.

Gabe went across the rainbow 🌈 bridge on 09-17-2026. My heart is broken 💔 for Tammy and Scott, as well as Gabe’s fur siblings (his littermate) Odin, Willow and Ruthie.

It was very sudden and unexpected. Gabe went to the vet that morning, and his family was given news no family ever wants to hear. The tough decision was made to let Gabe cross over for his quality of life. Our deepest condolences to his family. 🥺💔🐾

Wasn’t she sooo cute?? Starr shortly after we got her 🩷🩷🐾
Well I’m not sure if I should cry or not… Starr is on the move and very likely has been all along. I happened to stop and chat with someone this afternoon who said “I think I might have seen her this morning” 😳 so I went over to the area he stated he seen her, and there are dog tracks over there! Then the only house in the area someone was leaving so I stopped them and was telling them about how Starr was missing and asked if they have any big dogs…. And they don’t.

The conversation continued and I understand her suspicion when I was walking up and down the road staring at the ground. 🤣🤣🤷‍♀️ They had actually come down to check me out and seee what I was doing ….anyways our conversation continued and then something clicked for the woman I was talking with…..she said there were big dog prints after the last rain 🐾 she said she noticed them cause they have a smaller dog. 🙌

So now what?!? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
This might be out of my scope if she is traveling much further then I imagined … still not super far a little over a mile from where I had been searching for her, but…. 😬😬😬

Which leads me to believe that it was a pure God thing to catch her on a camera when I put that first one out. I wouldn’t be searching this hard for her now if I hadn’t caught her on it. So that’s gotta be everyone’s answered prayers, that she makes it home. Keep praying cause it’s working 🙏🙏❤️

Starr needs all your prayers, good vibes, well wishes or whatever good juju you can send her way. After 3 long months I caught her on a trail cam. 😍😍 I just wanted to update everyone, because so many people have shared her and prayed for her safe return. 🙏🙏

🛑🛑🛑 PLEASE DO NOT GO SEARCH FOR HER! 🛑🛑🛑You will spook her and she will go further into hiding. If you happen to see me, tell me you’re praying for her and know once I have her home I’ll share her story. This is only the very beginning of a very long road of recovery for her, I can only imagine what the past three months have been like for her and how much this will have changed her.

Since she is feral now, I’m going to have to trap her. I can’t find a live trap big enough. Game and Parks is emailing me some photos of what they create to trap their bigger animals. Is there anyone who fabricates that could fabricate a trap for me?!? It doesn’t have to be pretty just functional. DM me if you would be willing or if you know someone who might be willing to help me build this!

I might have given up hope if it wasn’t for all the wonderful dog lovin people in our community! 🫶

So the girls came and spent the later part of the evening with me last night. On our way home we did my nightly ritual of searching the fields for Starr. Last night all 3 of us swore we seen dog. I was floored and excited, so when the girls got up today we went over to the field to see if there were actual pawprints….low and behold there were. 😳 we hike back out of the field and I’m looking on the road and there definitely big dog prints walking up the side of the road. So I’m looking at these tracks and my granddaughter goes Mimi there’s a dog on the road behind us…. I turn around to catch a glimpse of a big dog…. Looked fawn in color and too tall to be Starr run down by the creek or wooded area. It likely was the dog we seen last night… talk about a let down though 💔😭 I think my heart shattered again. I hope the doggo finds his/her family soon. I did reach out to one of the admin in one of the local lost pet groups to see if anyone else around here had reported their dog missing. I was told they would make a post about the dog.

Which brings me to, I spoke with the leading dog tracker in our area a few weeks back. She didn’t have any availability, and I don’t know if she does now…. But I put a call in to her this evening again to see. If she does it’s $1250.00 for her to come look. I don’t have all the details of what that all includes but that is what I need to get her here. I can’t afford that on my own and I hate to ask but if I am able to confirm a date and time in the near future, would people be willing to help me reach that goal of $1250.00? I’ve appreciated the individuals so very much, who’ve helped me out with $$ to help cover the costs of drones and laminated posters to hang up. I can’t stop searching for her but I’m at the point where I don’t know where to focus my time or attention when it comes to Starr. Part of me believes someone has her, yet part of me believes she is close by. If I could just get a confirmation of her being in the area…. I could focus on that. I can’t believe that she’s been gone for almost 4 weeks now. Starr is my baby and I won’t stop searching for her…. The not knowing and terrible things my mind can come up with that she is going through is enough to drive me crazy! I’m not asking for anything yet…. Just putting a feeler out there to see if people would donate to help me get a highly recommended tracking dog and handler here to take a look.

Starr is still missing. 💔 I’m trying to get 10/11 to run a small story on her to reach people who might not have social media in the area. I’m also trying to find someone
with a scent dog that can come see if they pick up her scent at all. (Ive spoken with a few, no availability) I’ve had drones with thermal infrared cameras search multiple times by 2 different businesses, a search party, I’ve put out things with my scent, and put dirty clothes in the dryer and run that daily to keep my scent out there for her., myself and others have handed out and hung up flyers, countless people searching on their own…. There just hasn’t been any definitive signs of her.

I’m running out of ideas how to track her close to home, other than the things I stated above and the things I/we (all the amazing people who have been searching for her) have been doing. I need to get some bigger 11 x 17 laminated flyers to put out on the intersections around the area she went missing. If anyone knows of someplace that might help with them (the cost ) or if you’d be willing to purchase one or two and hang them that would be awesome. I went and got a few and the price per laminated 11x17 was roughly $8.00 at Office Depot. I didn’t check other places prices. The image above with minimal info and 2 pictures is the one I to be laminated and hung at intersections. I’d love to get a banner for Mopac trail as well…. But any help would mean the world to me.

Where to look? I get asked this a lot. The reality is, she could be anywhere by now. But the places to focus are 120th down to 98th st from A st to VanDorn St. (blue highlighter) also east of 120th from A st to O st up to 134th (yellow highlighter) PLEASE See images above.

Starr isn’t huge on treats, but I was thinking about what’s stinky that she likes…. She actually LO❤️ES sardines 🤷‍♀️ walk around with an open can hopefully she’ll catch the scent of them… I generally get the ones in oil.

I appreciate everyone sharing her, the more she gets out there, the better chances of finding her I have. If you work at a vets office and would share in the office as well as other vets you might deal with, that would mean the world to me! She is microchipped and it’s been reported as a lost pet, so all the bells and whistles should go off IF scanned. (I don’t know if that’s true but I sure hope it is)

If anyone has any potential sightings please feel free to contact me directly via call or text (I don’t always see messenger or comments left here as quickly)….even if you think it’s insignificant it might be the key I need to find her! My sweet baby girl is still missing, and I can’t thank everyone who’s shared , searched or in anyway contributed to helping me find her. I am beyond distraught but my faith in humanity has been restored some. I just received a call (not that she was found or spotted 😭💔) but a wonderful woman who’s been searching for her is offering an additional $500 reward so now it’s $1000 REWARD for her safe return, no questions asked. If you see her or know anything about where she might be PLEASE reach out, even if you think it’s insignificant it might be the piece of info I/we need to bring her home!
