Fall is here and these 3 generations are relaxing on the couch. Veda (purple) will be 11 tomorrow, her daughter Rory (teal) is 3 and her granddaughter Vette (brown) is just shy of 5 months. We love seeing Veda’s traits come out in both of them.
Not pictured but also on the couch: Veda’s daughter Priya (8) and granddaughter Jill (4)
It’s a family affair around here. ♥️🐾

Just a little what’s in store for 2027.
We will be taking Jill to Radar. This should be an outstanding pairing. It’s been a pleasure to develop these two dogs and hunt behind them.

🚨 New Merch Alert!🚨
We’ve been talking about making our logo feel more like our own for a long time. We’ve always wanted to use this specific picture of Veda from when she was 2 years old training for her Versatile Champion title. With the help of Gary and Heather at GH Customs, LLC we’ve finally got what we’ve always wanted. Veda is the foundation of our kennel and the dog we will always strive to recreate.

If you’d like a shirt, let us know. This shirt is an oatmeal color, I’m planning to add a heathered olive as well. It can be put on any style or blend of shirt. Sweatshirts too. We are working on the ordering process. We will be looking at another color way for darker shirt options.
🔥Update: I added the picture of the embroidered option also.

It’s a day late… but the litter turned 1 yesterday! It’s been so fun keeping in touch with their new owners over the year and watching these pups grow. It’s going to be a busy summer for them testing in their NAVHDA natural ability tests and getting after birds this fall in their first real hunting season.

Updated map of the former sh***un zone with hunting permit area overlay. This should be a great research opportunity to study doe harvest rates, buck age class, success rates, and hunter satisfaction. Hopefully the MNDNR starts tracking some more useful data so we can make more informed deer management decisions!

Our testimony on this was focused around the increase in range resulting in a higher buck harvest which could be problematic.

Thanks RVAA Training / River Valley Arms and Ammo of Morton, MN for putting this map together!
