🎉🎉🎉🎉BIJOU IS BACK HOME SAFE🎉🎉🎉
After 22 days on the run, Bijou was safely trapped!!! A concerned family in Barkhamsted took a chance setting a trap for her. Although, CT Dog Gone Recovery volunteers also had a trap set at a nearby house Bijou decided the other trap was just right!!!
CTDGR volunteers Kelli, Kim, Debbie, Donna and Bijou’s family tracked her down from where she went missing in Torrington to Burr Mountain, New Hartford, Canton, Granby, Hartland and then finally trapped in Barkhamsted.
We are so fortunate to be surrounded by such caring communities who called in sightings so we could track her. A special thank you to those who let us on their property to search, set up cameras, feeding stations, and traps!
We will never know the details of Bijou‘s journey, but we are so happy she is safe.
Welcome home Bijou your family missed you and never gave up!!!

today in the Tara Dr and Torringford West area of Torrington. If you live in the area, please keep your eye out and call the number on the flyer immediately if seen. She is friendly, but may be scared so please do not chase or shout out to her. The best thing you can do is call the number on the flyer. Let’s get her home safe quickly.
