Its flea and tick season! 
As many of you know, if somehow a canine comes into our facility with fleas or a tick infestation, we will cancel all appointments for the rest of the day. On our contract, we do require our client to be on flea and tick medication. If you are choosing not to there is a waiver that you must sign.
We do this for several reasons the first we do not want any other clients to be exposed to these critters. We do a deep clean, including UV sterilization, as well as completely fog bombing the entire salon. Our main priority has always and will always be to keep everybody that comes into our salon safe.
That being said if you are going to a holistic vet and are choosing not to have your dog on flea and tick medication, you are required to let us know at the time of booking. We can always make accommodations to have your dog as the last dog of the day where no one else is at risk of bringing anything home. Be aware that the grooming fee will include the extra time needed to sanitize and bomb the entire salon.
If your dog is found to have an infestation, and we have not been previously warned, just understand that the fee will be extremely high as we will have to cancel our entire day. Please be considerate of all clients and our staff and just let us know. It’s very simple thank you. -Marie
