đŸŽ‰đŸŸ YOU DID IT!

We set an ambitious goal of raising $300,000 at this year's Furr Ball. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our community, we raised approximately $400,000!

This year's incredible success included a $50,000 premier presenting sponsorship from the Murr Family and a $50,000 anonymous matching gift that our supporters met in full during Raise Your Paw!

In fact, Raise Your Paw alone brought in approximately $175,000, including an additional $10,000 match from the Yam Foundation. And the generosity didn't stop there! Our live auction included an incredible $13,000 winning bid from Chris Marley for Five Dollar Ranch's Brewer for a Day experience.

But this accomplishment belongs to EVERYONE who made Furr Ball possible. 🏆
- Our generous sponsors and donors
- Our auction contributors and bidders
- Our dedicated volunteers and Furr Ball Committee
- Our board, staff and everyone who helped behind the scenes
- Our longtime supporters and those joining us for the first time

With an annual operating budget of approximately $1.7 million, this incredible generosity will help sustain our work caring for animals and supporting pet families throughout the year.

From all of us at Blue Mountain Humane Society, THANK YOU! We couldn't do this without you. 💙

H***h recently went on a Pawsitive Adventure to the old General Hospital and took a walk around Wheatland Village with volunteers Bonnie Terrio and Machelle Colligan.

He was excited to go on an adventure, but wanted some help lifting his rear into the car. He enjoyed riding in the car and taking a walk along the creek.

H***h was interested in the ducks but didn’t try to chase them. He’s a good walker, easy going and quiet, and likes to sniff.

He said hi to some people and finished off his outing with a delicious pup cup before heading back to the shelter!

H***h is a sweet, 8-year-old dog who is ready to go to a forever home. Thank you, Machelle and Bonnie for taking him on an adventure!

Maple will be temporarily returning to BMHS from her foster home until Monday, Nov. 2, meaning now would be a great time for potential adopters to come meet her!

Maple has now been a shelter dog for one year. She came to us last October, and has been looking for a forever home ever since.

She is doing very well in her foster home, but she’s hoping there’s a person out there who can take her home for good.

If you’re interested in meeting Miss Maple, give us a call at 509-525-2452 to set up a time to come see her.

Oklahoma is looking for a new home!

➡Please note: Oklahoma is not at Blue Mountain Humane Society — he is still with his current family until a new home is found.

All adoption inquiries should be directed to the current family through the Home To Home website at https://home-home.org/pets/b7353219-a429-42ea-8e77-e06115111448

About Oklahoma:
📍Location: Walla Walla
đŸ¶Age/Sex: 1-year-old male husky
✂Fixed: Yes
💉Vaccinated: Yes

Oklahoma is a sweet, energetic dog who needs more attention and consistency in his life. He is a great listener when his energy needs are being met. He is house trained, crate trained, and loves to snuggle once he’s had some exercise.

He knows “sit” and “down,” and likes to walk (jog) on a leash. Oklahoma shouldn’t live with small animals, but does well with children. He has a mild chicken allergy.

He needs someone who can devote time to frequent training and activity.

If Oklahoma sounds like a good fit for your home, reach out to his current family through the Home To Home link above!

Thanks to our partnership with Home To Homeℱ, pet owners in the Walla Walla Valley can find new homes for their pets directly — no shelter stay needed. It’s one of the ways Blue Mountain Humane Society helps keep families and pets supported while reducing shelter crowding.
