To the Batmobile! 🦇 Meet Bruce Wayne! This kitty is estimated to be 6-8 months old. He was found as a stray, and was going to be a warehouse mouser. Unfortunately, Bruce isn’t cut out for that lifestyle. 😂😂😂 Bruce is the sweetest, most cuddly cat. He couldn’t hurt a fly. Bruce is neutered, chipped, vaccinated, and triple tested negative. He is past the “kitten phase” and has no bad behaviors. He has been in a foster home with big and small dogs and could care less. If you are looking for your own superhero for your family, email us today!

🎉🐾 IT’S EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION WEEK AT KELLEY’S ANIMAL CLINIC! 🐾🎉

Who says appreciation week is just for vet techs? 😉 At Kelley’s, we’re celebrating EVERYONE who makes this crazy, wonderful, occasionally chaotic world of veterinary medicine go round!

From the exam rooms to the front desk, from the treatment area to everything happening behind the scenes, it takes an incredible team to care for our patients and their people. ❤️

We laugh together, stress together, survive the chaos together, and somehow manage to keep showing up every day for the animals who need us. We couldn’t do it without every single member of this team!

So here’s to the coffee drinkers, the multitaskers, the problem-solvers, the animal whisperers, the cleanup crew, and everyone who has ever said, “Well, that was an interesting day!” 😂

Our team is the real MVP — even on the days when the animals are better behaved than the humans. 🐶🐱

Help us celebrate the amazing people who make Kelley’s Animal Clinic special! Drop some love in the comments for our incredible crew! 💕🐾

ADOPTED! 💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕💕💕❤️💕❤️💕Meet Ember! This petite gal was recently returned to us after being adopted out as a kitten. Ember is now a little over a year old, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and has a negative f***l and triple test. Ember was returned to us after having some litter box issues. The other cat in the home started urinating outside the box, and was turned into an outdoor cat. Once that cat was gone, Ember started to urinate outside the box. We are unsure if she was smelling the previous cat, or why this started occurring out of no where. Since being here we have had no issues with her using the litter box. We would like to set her up in a stress free home to give her the best opportunity to prove herself. We would like her to be the only cat in the household. Ember is long haired, and will require brushing. She loves belly rubs and will roll all over for them. Ember can be shy and prefers a hidey bed, and being under the covers 😂😂😂 Email us at [email protected] if you would like to meet her!

Meet Dolly! This small gal has had a rough start and is ready for someone to show her how special she is. Dolly was found severely emaciated, matted to the point she couldn't see, and could barely go to the bathroom. She was found in this condition behind a dumpster, freezing cold and unable to walk due to weakness. Our team immediately got to work to try and save her. Her bloodwork showed her organs were shutting down due to starvation.
Her nails that had been growing into her paw pads were cut, and her hair was shaved down. Next up was a refeeding schedule, which is done to prevent refeeding syndrome that can occur when starved dogs eat huge meals after not having food. Gradually Dollys bloodwork started to improve, and she gained weight, and the ability to get around. Now other than her hair that is growing back in, you would never guess this was the same dog that came to us over a month ago. Dolly has been aged as 3-4 years old. She is doing very well with house training, and would do best with someone that can continue to spend time with her. She likes other dogs, but does not like to share anything food related. For this reason a no kid household is best for her.
Our dream home for her would be an only pet household, with no young guests, that work from home or are retired and can spend a good amount of time with her. She bonds deeply to her people, and only wants to follow you aroun and lay on your lap. She is the typical low energy Shihtzu . She deserves to be the queen bee after what she has been through. She may not look like the normal fluffy Shihtzu, but with time her looks will catch up with her resilience and zest for life. Email us for an adoption application at [email protected]
