Not just dog treats. It’s about resilience, turning disappointment into purpose, and building something meaningful from love. Lollie Mae inspired a business that celebrates healthy dogs, family, and simple ingredients while creating a community of fellow dog lovers.

Elizabeth Hughes founded Lollie Made Homemade Dog Treats after her beloved rescue dog, Lollie Mae, inspired a passion for giving dogs simple, healthy treats made with love.

Growing up, Elizabeth always loved animals, but it wasn’t until she and her husband adopted Lollie Mae that she realized how much joy a dog could bring. Lollie became their hiking partner, constant companion, and “fur baby.” After learning they couldn’t have children because of Elizabeth’s congenital heart defect, they poured their love into Lollie and embraced being devoted dog parents.

Elizabeth began baking homemade treats with just three simple ingredients:

* Pumpkin
* Peanut butter
* Whole wheat flour

What started as gifts for family and friends quickly grew into a business. With her husband’s support handling the business side while she focused on baking and marketing, Lollie Made expanded from local farmers markets to online sales and wholesale partnerships.

What makes Lollie Made different?

* Simple, recognizable ingredients.
* Many pumpkins are grown locally in Waleska, Georgia.
* Every treat is stamped with a heart, symbolizing both love for dogs and Elizabeth’s personal journey with her heart condition.
* The mission is to provide healthy treats and peace of mind for dog owners.
