Today we said God bye to Thoron Oakenshield. He was a shih tzu mix from a hoarders home. He had been here 5 years Even though he never got his own home, he, he ruled the small dog pack with grace and courage. Fly high little guy. See you on the other side

It's been 55 YEARS since I rescued my first shelter dog! I am old. I love REALLY BIG. Great Danes Irish Wolfhounds Newfies Pyrenees. I can't lift them any more. I used to keep 80 to 100 dogs. I have 30 now. Getting old sucks! I have a contingency plan should I die so the dogs are cared for. Like so many others in rescue, we are not able to take in more. I have some bottle fed cavapoos ready to go, adult schnauzers, border collies, queensland heelers, a few Maltese mixes, and token pit bulls ( if everyone took a few pitties we could clear the shelters)

We have two spayed female mini schnauzers ready to go. They are very bonded. They are leash trained but not house trained.

Jake got his health certificate today for his trip to Arizona Wednesday. I was very proud of him
He was scared at first but settled right down and had a complete physical, f***l test and updated his rabies shot

We still have a few small dogs available. They are already spayed/ neutered, up to date on shots, on preventatives. Schnauzers, terrier mixes, a black mouth cur, and a cattle dog. Give me a call at 479 227 0453.
