Meet Crayola (Ray-ray) 🖍️,the young, sweet, and endlessly amusing pug who brings joy wherever she goes. This girl is about 3 years old and 27 lbs. Known for her friendly and goofy nature, Ray-ray is a playful companion who loves interacting with other dogs. She’s been hanging all week in foster with adoptable Nelly and is having a blast! While she has a cuddly demeanor, she’s quite the playful clown, always ready to lighten the mood.

Meet HoneyBelle! 🍯

Honey is a super sweet 6-month-old pointer/lab mix ready for her family. This sweet girl found herself in rescue after being picked up from the side of a busy highway. Despite her start, Honey is one resilient pup with a gentle nature. Honey adores playing with other dogs, is cool with cats and is having a blast with kids in her foster home. She’s super smart and friendly, always ready for a game or a gentle cuddle. Her favorite thing is just going with the flow, whether it’s a quiet day indoors or an exciting adventure outside. Honey is working really hard on house training, does well in her crate and is learning leash walking skills every day.

Tigger had his ortho specialist appointment late last week at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists 🏥

When we put a call out needing a medical foster to get him up there, a previous adopter stepped up and gave him a soft landing spot. We didn’t expect for him to be adopted before the appointment but his family fell in love with him and was on board with taking him to this appointment knowing we had their back for this visit and what he may need as a result from his injury. Things are trending in the right direction for this sweet boy.

SOSARL will be getting follow-up x-rays to confirm he is released from exercise restriction in the next few weeks and to confirm there are no other concerns. We are extra grateful he’s in a safe and loving home who adores him and to the team at OSVS for taking good care of him.
