I'm NOT going out of business!
I (Melissa) will be teaching dogs, and their humans, until the day my back gives out.

But I am no longer able to offer pet sitting services to my training clients, as I am faaaar to busy to do so.

Which means I need solid pet sitters, dog walkers, and boarders to refer my clients to in the South County area. Positive reinforcement professionals only.

So if you offer services, please hit me up!

🐾National Dog Training Month Spotlight🐾

Before SOS retail was even an idea, Melissa and Bad Dog Basics was making a difference helping dogs and their humans in our community build strong foundations through both group classes and private training. She helps people reach a new level of communication and trust with their dogs every day, and many of our adopters—and even volunteers—have benefited greatly from her expertise. That expertise is built on years of experience, growing up surrounded by dogs, and her studies at Animal Behavior College. On top of all that, Melissa has volunteered with SOSARL since the very early days of the rescue, helping many of us gain a better understanding of the dogs in our program by offering thoughtful guidance rooted in keen observation, hands-on time, and a deep desire to see every dog succeed.

And lucky for everyone, there are new Essential Dog Class sessions starting very soon! Register you and your pup today!
