In 2006, I began my own pet care service in San Diego, Ca. I provided dog daycare, socialization, beach trips, dog walking, hikes and pet sitting for dogs of all breeds and sizes and a wide variety of animals. Although I was born and raised in San Diego, the Big Island has given me the feeling of home with its Aloha spirit. I have found the nicest people along the way and at the top of my list are the people who reside in Waikoloa Village. I see their kindness and also their incredible love for their pets. Pet sitting is an experience that is extremely fun and rewarding for me. Caring for animals takes a person just like me; responsible, patient, compassionate and detail-oriented. Pet care is my passion, and I take great pride in what I do.

The community outreach is so heartwarming. Mahalos to all who are giving back to an island that gives us so much.🤗❤️

Dan and I picked up these donations collected at Food Truck Friday last night by the compassionate folks with 365 Hawaii Island Community Fund.

Special Mahalos to Trisha Elder, who's been working tirelessly, helping those affected and getting the word out about resident needs during this challenging time.

Halau Ka'eaikahelelani (the Hālau we've been collecting for) has partnered with Vibrant Hawaii and opened a drop off location to Kōkua Ka'u.

Big Island friends — let’s help fill the truck. ❤️🌺
As our island begins recovering from **Hurricane Lala**, some of our neighbors in Naʻalehu and the Kaʻū community were hit especially hard and could really use our support.

A local hālau, Hālau Kaʻeaikahelelani is collecting supplies and will be heading south on Thursday to deliver donations and help with cleanup and recovery.

Dan will be at the Kona Sailing Club today (Tuesday, 8/18) from 5:00–6:00 PM collecting donations to send with them.

Most-needed items include:

* 3–5 gallon bottles of drinking water
* Non-perishable food
* Propane tanks
* Gas cans
* Cleanup and recovery supplies
* Other useful household and emergency supplies
* Personal items

Can’t make it to the club but still want to help? Monetary donations can be sent via Venmo and will go toward purchasing needed supplies for affected families. Send me a PM for the venmo handle.

A huge mahalo to everyone who has already donated supplies, funds, or offered to help yesterday. Your generosity means so much and is exactly what makes our Big Island community so special. ❤️

As America celebrates 250 years of freedom this Fourth of July, let’s make sure every pet gets home safe. Fireworks can be scary, so plan ahead: keep pets indoors, update ID tags and microchips, and have a current photo just in case. ❤️🐾
