No application is needed just to stop by, browse, and meet the animals. However, an approved adoption application is required to finalize an adoption.

Basic adoption requirements:
• Adopters must be 21+ years old
• An adoption application must be completed and approved before adoption can be finalized

Thank you again Hana Koa Brewing Co. for having us at this year’s Surf Pup event! We had such an amazing time celebrating our community, meeting so many wonderful people and pups, and sharing some of our adoptable animals. We also saw a Oahu SPCA alum! And the best part? We even had an adoption happen right on the spot! 🐾

A huge mahalo to all of the other wonderful organizations who joined us and helped make the event so special.

Petco Vaccine Clinic Update 🐾

Due to the severe weather, we will not be holding our vaccine clinics today. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize everyone’s safety.

All Beretania appointments will be rescheduled to Sunday, September 6th, and all Kahului appointments will be rescheduled to Sunday, August 30th.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please stay safe, take care of one another, and keep your fur babies safe and comfortable during the weather. ❤️🐾

As we hunker down here at the Oahu SPCA for Hurricane Lala, our biggest priority is making sure every animal in our care stays safe, clean, comfortable, and cared for.

And we just welcomed 10 NEW PUPPIES and their mama into our care! With more animals comes even more supplies, and we need your help stocking up before the storm hits.

We are especially in need of:

* Linens & towels
* Puppy pads
* Kitty litter
* Other animal care essentials

If you can help, drop off supplies at our shelter on 823 Olive Ave, Wahiawa HI 96786

Every towel, puppy pad, bag of litter, and dollar donated helps us keep our shelter animals safe while we weather the storm together!

Hello, I’m Daphne!

I’m a 4.5-year-old girl who knows what it feels like to have a family... and how hard it is to lose one. I was adopted and thought I had found my forever home, but when my family moved overseas, I wasn’t able to go with them and found myself back at the shelter.

It wasn’t my choice, and it wasn’t because I did anything wrong. I’m simply hoping someone will give me another chance at the forever home I deserve.

I’m ready to leave the past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will choose me for good. All I’m asking for is a loving home where I can feel safe, cherished, and part of the family. Adopt me today!

Sometimes people say, “I could never adopt a shelter pet… they’re there for a reason.”

And yes, they’re there for a reason. But it’s not always the reason you think.

Sometimes their family moved.
Sometimes their owner passed away.
Sometimes their family could no longer care for them.
Sometimes they were found as strays.
Sometimes their circumstances changed through absolutely no fault of their own.

Whatever the reason, ending up in a shelter does NOT make them broken, bad, or less deserving of a family.
