🏔️ Wrapping up the Colorado Classic Futurity with TOO SLICK TO SHAKE and adding over $5,400 to his LTE! 🏆

🩵This has been one the biggest accomplishments of my career as a futurity trainer and one of the highest earnings for Bear so far. It has been a a huge goal of mine to compete at events of this caliber against some of the best horses and riders in the industry! To come home with results like these is something I’m incredibly proud of. Bear handled the long haul, a completely new environment, and tough competition like a gem!

🩶TOO SLICK TO SHAKE! 🩶

✨ 5th in the 2D Open Futurity – $332
✨ 5th in the 2D Stallion Incentive Futurity – $778

We still have several incentives and side pots left to be paid out, so the weekend isn’t over yet!

I couldn’t be more proud of this young stallion and the effort he gave today. I feel so blessed to be his jockey. The places this horse has already taken me are hard to put into words, and I know we’re just getting started.

A few years ago, I never would have imagined entering and competing at events like this. I have already met so many incredible people and had the opportunity to visit with trainers and professionals I’ve looked up to for years. To now find myself placing alongside these incredible trainers I’ve admired for so long is truly a dream come true. It’s a reminder that hard work and persistence can take you places you never thought possible. We have some areas to improve on to get to the winners circle but for now we are happy!

Round 2 tomorrow, and regardless of the outcome, this stallion has already made me proud in more ways than I can explain. 💙

💎Smoke’s oldest foal crop is officially reaching the riding stage, and we’re loving what we’re seeing!

This beautiful 2-year-old by PC REMARKABLE has the look, shape, mind, and talent to make a standout prospect. Watching Smoke’s offspring start their careers is incredibly rewarding!

Great work Circle C Horsemanship in putting such a solid start on this young horse!

✨PC REMARKABLE✨
Laid down a nice run for us today to earn $350 in the open! He was 8th in the 1D derby side pot! One thing this horse has is SPEED! I’m getting closer to figuring that out, just another part of training 😊. Proud of both my boys this weekend!
✨We will be taking a much needed break next week in preparation for the Colorado Classic! Can’t wait!!

✨TOO SLICK TO SHAKE✨
💎2nd in the futurity round this morning!
✨So proud of this young stallion. After a full week of collecting and breeding, I went into this weekend a little nervous about how he’d handle competing.

As usual, Bear took my concerns, told me to get out of the way and let him do the work!

Weekend after weekend, he continues to show up with the same confidence, consistency, and heart. He makes the breeding barn, the practice pen, and competition days look way easier than they should for a young stallion! 💙

Quick trip to Lincoln NE for the MVP Memorial Day Race.
‼️Too Slick To Shake- Took care of us despite a little stumble around 1st. Cost us some time but he still placed 2nd in the Futurity, 11th/44 in the Slot race, and 16th/244 in the open!

Tonight’s exercise looked a little different but the view was great! Slower pace and a good mental break for the boys and me! We enjoyed a beautiful evening and definitely needed some time to slow down! We love trail riding and appreciate the extra training it provides indirectly!
