VPS specializes in training American Saddlebreds and Registered Morgan horses. We welcome you to come, visit and talk to us about training and/or lessons. We have a highly successful training program for horse and rider , winning many many awards and world championships

Kathi Hummel is a 3rd generation horse woman who showed her first pony, a Welsh Morgan cross, at the age of 4. Her parents, Bob

and Jean Rutledge, were prominent breeders of the Serenity Morgan horses. Their famous Serenity breeding is still seen on the bloodlines of many current World Champions today. Eight World titles and a couple of Reserve World titles as a junior exhibitor and amateur set the stage for a life's work that evolved to a professional level as a trainer and instructor. Some of Kathi's former students are current World Champion trainers, riders, instructors, Big R judges and equine veterinarians. Craig literally built Vantage Point Stable from the ground up... and is known for his ability with a harness horse in particular. We are a full service stable including training, breeding, riding and driving lessons, preparation for horse shows, from beginner level to World Championship.
