North Fork Friends of Ferals - NFFoF

North Fork Friends of Ferals - NFFoF North Fork Friends of Ferals Inc, established in May 2021, is a 501c3 non profit cat rescue group, located on the North Fork of Long Island.

It is 100% all volunteer driven, and 100% of donations and proceeds benefit the cats we rescue. We rescue abandoned cats, trap, socialize and adopt out cats and kittens from the local area, and perform trap, neuter, return (TNR) services for feral cats in our area. We are also starting to set up a pet food pantry.

We have the most gorgeous litter of kittens who have not been scooped up yet. Four calico girls, and a grey and white boy. They are not only good looking, but they are the sweetest babies with the best personalities.

Patrick and SpongeBob, brothers, were adopted by a local family today! They were rescued from a local homeless shelter this summer. Thank gosh one of the residents reached out to us for help. We spayed their mom and the babies all came into our foster and adoption program.

Now they will be loved, adored and safe inside a lovely home with these adoring kids.

Special thanks to Sherri and Abbie for all their superstar fostering skills. The adopters sure look excited and these kittens may not know it yet, but they hit the jackpot!

Miles and Nilah are searching for their forever families. They can be adopted together or separately and are absolute sweethearts. They are being fostered by the family where we rescued them and we are so thankful they were willing to foster for us! These two are in a active foster home with two very young children, so they will adapt to any home easily. Their two siblings, Brunson and Noby, will be staying put as the family fell in love with the whole litter, but can only manage to keep two. Can you tell they are Knicks fans? 😁❤️

Congratulations to Rosie the kitten who was adopted recently. Rosie is a very special kitten who has CH, cerebellar hypoplasia, aka wobbly kitten syndrome. CH is caused when the momy cat is exposed to the pan leukemia virus while she is pregnant and it can affected her growning babies. She is just a love and we appreciate her adoptive family loving her just as they would any other kitty.

Special thanks to foster Sam and her family for taking litter after litter into their home and showing each kitten love and how to be loved.

Pretty girl, our super fluffy and elegant little kitten finally met her new mom and dad tonight, and will be living the high life in NYC. She will have a feline sibling who she will meet after their integration separation, but we know they will be the best of friends.

Thank you to a Sherri, Abbie and Morgan for fostering her and making her the sweet and shoulder sitting kitten she’s blossomed into. And to Morgan, transporting her tonight to meet her new family, we are so grateful!

Special thanks to a special woman named Anne Marie, who transported a small fluffy kitten to the vet ophthalmologist today. Poor little fella has an eye getting worse by the day. Luckily Dr. LaCroix diagnosed and treated him, and he now has to go back every two days for another small procedure repeatedly until it gets better. Anne Marie is now fostering him through his treatment since that’s more convenient than driving all over to pick him up from the foster, going to the vet and then returning him back to the foster every two days.

Please join me in thanking Anne Marie for being such an amazing help with this little guy. Small acts of kindness are so appreciated and we couldn’t do it without her!

Nubbons (tuxedo), who was born with a little nub of a tail and his brother Nibbons (black), were adopted a few weeks ago to the most amazing home. Sadly their new momma was highly allergic and they were returned. We are absolutely heart broken for these 2 bonded brothers.

We would really like to get them into a new home as quickly as possible, they so deserve it!
