💀👀 LOOK WHO'S HERE… IT'S FRED FROM THE DEAD! 👀💀

We've got a fun little visitor hanging around the store… meet Fred from the Dead! 💀

Fred is a fun little character from the book Fred from the Dead, and he's a bit like Elf on the Shelf — except Fred loves to move around and pop up in unexpected places!

You might find him hiding somewhere in our Backyard Nature Nook, or he may even make a surprise appearance downstairs at Paws Inn Pet Essentials! 🐾

🔎 Can you spot Fred? Keep your eyes open when you visit and see if you can find where he's hanging out next!

You never know where Fred might show up! 💀🍂

You've heard of "Elf on the Shelf?" Get ready for "Fred from the Dead!" We could argue that Fred is even cuter with his adorable ball cap and sneakers. This posable little guy comes with a book to read with kids about dealing with fear. Make Fred part of your spooky season family tradition! Find him and lots of other gift items at Backyard Nature Nook in downtown Waconia!

🎒✨ A little something FUN for back-to-school! ✨🎒

We just added some of the cutest little finds from Terra Natural Designs to the Backyard Nature Nook!

🦙 Super-soft alpaca keychains
🦩 Fun animal designs
🌸 Beautiful embroidered coin purses
🎒 Perfect for backpacks, lunch bags, purses & more!

And these aren't just cute! Terra Natural Designs works with artisans in South America, helping preserve traditional craftsmanship while creating sustainable, handmade pieces. So there’s a pretty neat story behind these little finds, too. ❤️

They make a fun back-to-school surprise, a little gift tucked into a backpack, or just something fun to add a little personality to your bag.

Sometimes it’s the little things that are the most fun. 🥰

Hummingbirds are going to be leaving Minnesota soon for their southward migration. Part of the journey requires them to cross the Gulf, a 500 mile crossing with no food or water. This incredible feat takes them about twenty hours. Amazing for a bird that weighs a tenth of an ounce. They are some of the most incredible athletes on the planet.
