It’s taken us a few days to process and put into words, but on Monday, our family said goodbye to our sweet Old English Bulldog, Lily, at 13 years old. 🐾❤️

​Lily belonged to Kris and Eva, and she was such a bright, funny light in our lives. She was absolute happiest chasing butterflies, catching the breeze on UTV rides, and giving us endless snorts and love. We are going to miss that iconic squishy face and her sweet spirit more than words can say.

​Losing a pet is a unique kind of pain, and our hearts go out to anyone who has had to walk through it. But moments like this, as hard as they are, remind us deeply of why we started West Metro Pet Care in the first place.

​Their lives with us are relatively so short. Because of how deeply we love them, we want every single moment of their time on earth to be as happy, comfortable, stress-free, and pain-free as possible.

​Rest easy, sweet Lily. Thank you for 13 years of joy, belly rubs, and unforgettable memories. You will be forever loved and missed. 🌈🐾❤️

Someone is officially on high alert for fair snacks and prime people-watching. 🐾🎡

​Archie took a stroll past the fairgrounds today to inspect the setup, and it’s safe to say he’s ready for the Carver County Fair to kick off tomorrow right here in Waconia! If you see us out and about soaking up the energy, make sure to give this guy a wave.

Welcome to the West Metro Pet Care family, Bernie! 🐾

​When last-minute schedule changes meant Bernie couldn't make it to his normal boarding facility, we were more than happy to step in! We already knew and loved caring for his feline brother, Roger, so getting to welcome Bernie into the mix was the absolute best surprise.

​His sitter, Mia, snapped these fantastic photos of the handsomest dynamic duo. Bernie fit right in, and we are so glad we could save the day for this sweet crew!
