Today, our clinic family had to say goodbye to one of our own.

Mama Cat wasn’t just our clinic cat—she was a constant source of comfort, companionship, and quiet joy for our team. Whether she was napping in her favorite spot, keeping us company through long days, or reminding us to slow down for a moment, she made the clinic feel like home.

Today, Dr. Krueger made the incredibly difficult decision to help her cross the rainbow bridge with love and dignity. While our hearts are heavy, we’re so thankful for the years we shared with her and the memories she’ll always leave behind.

Run free, sweet Mama Cat. Thank you for being such a special part of our clinic family. You will be deeply missed and forever loved. 🌈🐾❤️

🏡 Looking for the Perfect Adult Home 🐾

This handsome 4-year-old neutered Australian Shepherd named Blitz is looking for a new family to call his own. He has been well loved, and his owners have recently made sure he’s completely up to date on all of his veterinary care before beginning the search for the right home.

He is healthy, incredibly smart, affectionate, and loves being with his people. Like many Aussies, he has strong herding instincts. Unfortunately, those instincts have led him to herd and nip at small children, and with a young grandson in the home, his family has made the heartbreaking decision to find him a more suitable environment.

His ideal home would be:

* 🐾 Adults only, or a home with older, dog-savvy children
* 🏡 A family familiar with herding breeds
* ❤️ Someone who can provide exercise, mental stimulation, and continued training

This is not a decision his owners have made lightly. Their only goal is to find him a safe, loving home where he can thrive.

There’s been a lot of questions surrounding New World screwworm. Here’s some resources including the latest from the Texas Animal Health Commission regarding the outbreak and medication you can use on your pets to prevent and treat them. This is also applicable to your household pets! We do provide the effective preventions for cats and dogs in house or on our online pharmacy, by prescription only.

Meet Honey Barker 🐾

For the last 2 years, Honey spent every day itching herself raw from severe allergies. Her skin was constantly irritated, she was losing hair, and the itching had become such a normal part of life that her owner even thought the “dust” around the house was debris from nearby construction — when it was actually dandruff and skin from her nonstop scratching.
