Heaps Of Bees Honey

It's a beautiful day for harvesting honey. The bees were lovely and calm, such a pleasure to interact with. We got a very small harvest this year due to a nasty wet spring (bees can't fly in the rain, and can't pollinate crops that are under water 😕) so I am considering charging a little more for what I do have. $10/8 oz plastic jar (unlike the glass from previous years). I should know by the end of the week how much I have to sell. As always, thanks for your support!

Some good info on how to keep your garden pollinator safe!

Pesticides are related to ni****ne, and they're effective against a range of insects — including the good guys.

The Bradford Pear tree is literally humming this afternoon. Look closely and you can see hundreds of bees!

Busy bees in our yard these days! They're loving all the flowering weeds! If you don't absolutely have to mow your lawn, consider leaving it for your winter starved pollinators!

The best part of beeing (is that cute? No? No. Okay.) a Waco bee keeper is the awesome sources of pollen all year round. Bees need minimal feeding (sugar water) in these parts because they're making their own food. Who is excited for loquat honey?!? (Answer: me.)

All! I have created this here business page in the hopes that it will provide insight into my bee keeping practices as well as bring a little order to the madness that is getting the goods (that is, sweet, sweet honey) to the interested parties (that would be you). I'm not super interested in playing along with facebook's business page politics, and only produce a very little honey a year, so am not too worried about amassing followers, but hope, instead, that this page will prove helpful in keeping you in the loop so you don't miss out.
