Barkley Animal Clinic Over 30 years small animal experience, offering diagnostic, medical, surgical and dental services. We are a veterinary clinic.

Though you will see several rescue and foster animals on this page, Barkley Animal Clinic is not a rescue organization. All of the foster animals are rescued, raised, and cared for by our technicians who volunteer their time and efforts, as well as the financial responsibilities to help animals in need. These animals are not under the treatment, care, or responsibility of Barkley Animal Clinic.

Our Barkley Animal Clinic family has suffered a great loss this week. Martin passed away on Monday from longterm illnesses. We are all pushing through each day, just doing our best; but we miss him very much.

We are going to be closed on Monday morning so that the entire staff will be able to attend his funeral. Then, we will open at 2:30 for our scheduled afternoon appointments.

Please keep Martin’s family in your thoughts and prayers as they struggle through each day as well.

Due to the recent outbreak, we are recommending that all dogs that attend any grooming, boarding, day care, or dog park facilities call to get scheduled for a Kennel Cough (Bordetella/Parainfluenza) booster vaccine.
It is even recommended for those who simply walk around the neighborhood, visit friends/family with pets, or live in apartment complexes.

Our schedules are very full, but we will try to squeeze in appointments for these boosters as best as we can. We do want to make sure all of our patients are protected.
