🐾 Oliver stopped by Lake Air Animal Hospital for a visit after developing an ear infection! 🐶💙

Ear infections can be uncomfortable and painful for our pets, but catching them early can help prevent more serious issues and get your furry friend feeling better faster.

⚠️ Signs your pet may have an ear infection include:
Frequent head shaking
Scratching or pawing at the ears
Redness or swelling inside the ear
Unpleasant odor coming from the ears
Dark discharge or excessive wax buildup
Sensitivity when the ears are touched
Loss of balance or walking unevenly

If you notice any of these symptoms, it's a good idea to schedule an exam with your veterinarian.

Oliver was all ears during his visit with Dr. AnneClaire Huffman, and we're happy to help him get on the road to recovery! ❤️

📞 If your pet is showing signs of an ear infection, give us a call. Early treatment can make all the difference.

🎃 Happy October from Lake Air Animal Hospital! 🎃

Fall is officially here, and that means cooler weather, festive fun, and plenty of opportunities to make memories with your pets! 🍂🍁

As you enjoy the season, remember to keep your furry family members safe by:
🎃 Keeping candy and chocolate out of reach
🌽 Avoiding decorative corn, pumpkins, and gourds that curious pets may try to nibble
🕯️ Monitoring candles and Halloween decorations
🐕 Ensuring costumes fit comfortably and don't restrict movement or breathing
🍂 Checking for seasonal allergies that can cause itchy skin, ears, or paws

October is also a great time to schedule your pet's wellness exam before the busy holiday season arrives. Our team is here to help keep them happy and healthy all season long! 🧡

📸 Share a photo of your pet enjoying fall in the comments. We'd love to see them!

🐾 Wrangler’s Last Booster! 💉🐶
Wrangler the Corgi was the best boy for his last booster shot! 🥰 He was so busy enjoying his tasty treat that he hardly even noticed he got his shot. Talk about a smooth visit! 😂❤️

Why are booster shots important? 💉
Vaccines help protect your pets from serious and potentially life-threatening diseases. Booster shots help maintain and strengthen that protection over time, keeping your pets protected as they grow.

Regular vaccinations are an important part of your pet’s preventive care and overall health. 🐾❤️
Lots of cuddles, plenty of tail wags, and one very brave pup!
Way to go, Wrangler! 🐶👏
