A bit of transparency, here of Darling Dapple Dachshunds. Small Breeder since 2017.
I lost my current breeding female to a very toxic poison. Each one of my four dogs are my family. I love them deeply know them their personalities their quirks, they sleep with me. I walk them two or three times a day. They are my life.
I just wanted to put it out there that I will not have any litters in the next couple of months because I do not have any females that I can breed. I’ve always prided myself and having beautiful puppies.
(But aren’t all Dachshunds the cutest ever!🐾♥️)
I’m currently looking for another female, but it’s gonna take a while to bring her to breeding age, doing DNA …making sure she meets my standards, so please be patient.

This is such a sweet story of unconditional love!!
(In short, a mother dachshund, at a puppy mill was under quite a bit of stress and ended up chewing the legs off of her newborn puppy. This couple has fostered the Puppy or I believe has it to keep. And it is so sweet to watch their love for this one. )

Could you be someone’s miracle ?

As most of you already know, we have to leave our house here in Weybridge in a few weeks, as the land was sold to a developer who will demolish this house and build two new insanely expensive ones in it’s place. We always knew our time here was temporary but we wanted to stay as long as possible, which is why during the last year we have been opening up bookings just a few months at a time whilst the planning permission was granted and final preparations were made by the developer. But now the end is near, we now must find a new place to live, and despite a LOT of searching, this is proving difficult, to say the least. We of course hope to find somewhere suitable to continue Sausage Dog Hotel in some way, even if on a much smaller scale, but whilst we continue to search for that, we are also now forced to look at all possibilities including closing indefinitely and finding a smaller place for Stanley and ourselves to live in the meantime. It’s the absolute worst time of year to be searching for a new place to rent, with everyone now shut down for the Christmas/New Year holiday period, and to make matters worse there are new laws coming in next Spring for rentals which are having a huge effect on private landlord inventory and the rental process in general. We just aren’t getting anywhere at all and are hoping that one of you just might either have or know someone who has a vacant property that might be a good fit, either long or short term…

The requirements:

Lia is due to be starting a new job early in the new year, which will be based at Heathrow airport, so it needs to be within 30-40 mins drive (in any direction) from Heathrow. Any-sized place and setting may work, from small flats (just for us) up to larger, more isolated/remote houses for carrying on the hotel operation, and everything in-between, and it could be any scenario from a casual month-to-month short-term arrangement up to a long-term multi-year commitment. We are literally open to anything at this point and would love to hear from anyone who thinks they may have a suggestion or solution.
