Well, it's been a minute. 2 years ago we lost our 3 oldest babies; Bella, the matriarch; Sebastian, the patriarch and Jasper, our do**us. This, along with family issues took the fire out of us. We never said we weren't breeding, because we kind of still was, just not as passonate as before, so we didn't plan or track the cycles of our females like we had before. The fact is, our heart just wasn't in it. Then, this year we started getting more interest from people who had gotten a puppy from us and started to get many more friend requests on Facebook. So, we left it in God's hand. Piper, Bella and Sebastian's granddaughter and an absolute clone of Bella came in heat in August. We decided, if we put Piper with Blaze and they could conceive in time for puppies to be ready for Christmas we were back. If not, we would probably be done with breeding. On Aug. 25, the last day for puppies to be ready for Christmas, Piper and Blaze tied.
This past weekend Piper gave birth to 6 boys and 2 girls! These babies will be ready to go to their new homes in time for Christmas!!
